About the films
There are already two films of the Twilight Saga: Twilight (2008) and New Moon (2009). This summer, on June 30, 2010, the third film, which is called Eclipse, will be released.

The films would not exist without Stephenie Meyer's book Twilight, which was published in 2005.
Since then, the Twilight series (four books) have gained immense popularity around the world. They are most popular among young adults and have won many awards, for example the 2008 British Book Award for "Children's Book of the Year" and in 2009 the Kids' Choice Award for Favourite Book.
Until now, the novel has sold 17 million copies worldwide, and been translated into 37 different languages.
